The Crofoot is located on the South East corner of Pike and Saginaw Streets in the heart of downtown Pontiac. The venue is one block North of the Phoenix Amphitheater, 6 Blocks South of M-59 (Huron Street) and located in the center of the Wide Track Loop (Woodward Loop).  The Crofoot is directly across the street from a large secure parking lot.

NODC fundraising event: “Cinco de Mayo” on May 5 at The Burning Oak Smokehouse, Oxford, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Please join us for a Cinco de Mayo fundraiser and social hour at The Burning Oak Smokehouse, 595 N. Lapeer Rd., Oxford, 48371, Tuesday, May 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You’ll enjoy a delicious nacho buffet that also includes fountain beverages – all for only $20 per adult; a cash bar will also be available. You won’t want to miss guest speakers: MI House Democratic Leader Tim Greimel, Radio Host Tony Trupiano, 2014 Attorney General Candidate Mark Totten – and other speakers to be announced. The event is open to the public, so please bring family and friends to enjoy what’s sure to be a great social event – and an opportunity to help our club support 2016 election efforts. Dec. 17 (Wed) NODC Mtg and Holiday Celebration 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at C-Pub (a.k.a. Clansman Gaelic Pub) at Canterbury Village, 2325 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48360.  Entrance via  Joslyn Ct.  C-Pub is directly behind the Kings Court Castle banquet facility.

Guest Speakers include Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lon Johnson, who will discuss the 2014 General Election; and Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash, who will discuss the impact of pending “lame duck” legislation that would change the election years for county-wide offices.

Please bring canned and packaged food to donate to the Oxford/Orion FISH Food Pantry. (Please now food donations that have exceeded the “sell by” date).   December Pantry Wish List:  Cereal, Boxed potatoes (any kind), Canned pasta (Spaghetti, Chef Boyardee, etc.), Gravy, Mustard, Canned stew, Tomato sauce and paste, Stewed tomatoes

Now is the time to join or renew your membership with the North Oakland Democratic Club!  Membership form.    Membership is on a calendar year basis.  Any memberships received between now and January 1 will be considered 2015 memberships.
