Our guest speakers are Gubernatorial candidate State Rep. Alma Wheeler Smith, who will discuss her campaign, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer, who will discuss redistricting, and State Board of Education member Casandra Ulbrich, who will discuss financing education in Michigan. You won’t want to miss this meeting!
Now is the time to join or renew your membership in the North Oakland Democratic Club for 2010! Our membership form is attached. Membership dues is used to pay club event fees, postage, and supplies. Your membership is very important to the success of our club. 2010 will be a big year for our club, and we need your support!
We will be collecting donations of canned or boxed food for North Oakland food banks. Bring canned or dry goods suitable for food banks.
