Saturday, November 22nd, 2008Pancake breakfast 11/15 9 am to 1 pm in Oxford to support colon cancer victim
Friday, November 14th, 2008Democratic Friends,
One of our club members, Liz Wilson, is working with several people to help a woman, recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, to be able to take her children to Disney World this holiday. Several costs of the trip have been covered, but they are still raising money for the transportation.
There will be a pancake breakfast this Saturday, November 15, 9 am – 1 pm, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1 Hovey Street, Oxford (one block behind the Oxford Starbucks). The cost is $5. There will be a raffle/auction of various items at the breakfast. Liz intives all club members to attend!
In addition, if anyone would like to make a donation (either cash or items for the auction/raffle), please contact Liz Wilson at 248-628-8918.

Grange Hall Rd, Holly, (beween Dixie Hwy and Ortonville Rd) We will discuss plans between now and election day for this area with Sarah Bruhn, Field Organizer for the Michigan Campaign for Change.
