June 24 – July 13:  Precinct inspectors for August primary appointed by city and township election commissions.

July 6:  Last day to register for August Primary

By July 24;   County Clerk delivers remainder of ballots and election supplies for August Primary to local clerks.

Prior to July 31 2:00 pm:  Electors who wish to receive an absent voter ballot for the August primary by mail submit absent voter ballot applications.

August 2 up to 4:00 pm:  Electors qualified to obtain an absent voter ballot for the August primary may vote in person in clerk’s office.

August 3:  August Primary

by August 10 4:00 pm:  County clerks notify precinct delegates elected at August Primary: certify delegate names and addresses to chairpersons of county committees.

Aug. 11 – Aug 28:   Oakland County Convention, by Congressional District

By Sept. 3:  MDP Convention

Sept. 23-Oct 12:  precinct inspectors for November general election appointed by city and township election commissions.

Oct. 4:  – Last day to register for November general election.

By October 23:   County Clerk delivers remainer of ballots and election supplies for November general election to local clerks

By 2:00 pm Oct. 30:  Electors who wish to receive an absent voter ballot for the November general election by mail submit absent voter ballot applications.

Nov 2:  November General Election

Nov 9:  Oakland County Convention – Executive Committee for 2011-2012 is elected

Dec. 14:  Oakland County Convention – OCDP Board Officers (Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Chairs  1-4 elected.
